We are inviting the following crew to join our Towing Tug fleet operating in Saudi Arabia / ARAMCO
Rotation – 4 on / 2 off months
Wages – negotiable
Age limit – 50 years
1) Port Engineer (or Relief Port Engineer) - US, UK or European nationalities
Requirements:
- National CoC – Chief Engineer License equal to or better than a British Department of Transport Class 2 Certificate of Competency;
- At least ten years of experience maintaining similar offshore vessels;
- Good command of spoken and written English as must be capable of producing vessel maintenance work scopes using PC: Marlins Test certification with minimum overall score of 80% and minimum 70% in each section.
2) Electronic Engineer (or Relief Electronic Engineer) - Non US, UK or European nationalities
Requirements:
- At least five years of sea-going/offshore experience in maintaining and servicing electrical motors up to 1000 kW, marine switchboards and associated control / electronic equipment, electronic digital control systems and elector hydraulic systems;
- Good command of spoken and written English - Marlins Test certification with minimum overall score of 80% and minimum 70% in each section.
3) Electrical Engineer (or Relief Electrical Engineer) - Non US, UK or European nationalities
Requirements:
- National Certificate of Competency in Electrical Engineering with apprenticeship served in ship building, ship repair or heavy engineering;
- At least ten years sea-going/offshore experience in maintaining and servicing electrical motors up to 1000 kW, marine switchboards and associated control / electronic equipment, electronic digital control systems and elector hydraulic systems;
- Experience with Schottel thrusters and Caterpillar alternators is a plus;
- Good command of spoken and written English - Marlins Test certification with minimum overall score of 80% and minimum 70% in each section.
4) Chief Engineer (or Relief Chief Engineer) - US, UK or European nationalities
Requirements:
- National CoC - Marine Chief Engineer's License equal to or better than a British Department of Transport Certificate of Competency Class 2 Motor;
- At least two years of experience as Chief Engineer or Relief Chief Engineer on diesel or diesel electric propelled vessels;
- Should have the ability to overhaul main engines, turbo charger, injection pumps, generator engines and all other types of hydraulic pumps;
- Good command of spoken and written English - Marlins Test certification with minimum overall score of 80% and minimum 70% in each section.
5) Master (or Relief Master) – European nationality
Requirements:
- National CoC - Master's License equal to or better than a British Department of Transport Class 2 Certificate of Competency;
- At least two years of experience as Master or Relief Master on vessels similar to the requirement;
- Good command of spoken and written English - Marlins Test certification with minimum overall score of 80% and minimum 70% in each section.
