Required Marine Technical Manager. Shore based position at Doha Qatar.

Requirement:
1) Candidate preferred to have middle east experience including Doha, Qatar

2) At least 3 years of experience in Technical / Operations fields

3) Prefer marine engineer, mechanical engineer, naval architect or similar engineering

4) Experience in offshore industry / and / or ship management, ship building / repair is preferred

5) Well-spoken or written English language

Job DeScription:
· Report to Operation Manager

· Organize, coordinate and delegate technical and operations tasks of the technical department

· Monitor all managed or owned vessels' technical activities and ensuring monthly Planned Maintenance System are analysed.

· Introducing, adjusting and distributing procedures and work instructions that related to technical matters.

· Ensure that updated and detailed specifications of managed or owned vessels are available in the office.

· To determine the repair specifications for dry-docking, maintenance and surveys together with the most economical method to complete these.

· Ensure proper up-to-date records are prepared during and on completion of dry-docking and repairs for actual and anticipated expenditure as well as quality of the works and products involved.

· To identify and purchase the most economical technical and operating supplies required and within budgetary controls

· Assist in coordinating and monitoring any new-building projects as and when required.

· Attend to vessel sea trials, dry-docking, repairs and surveys when required.

· Responsible to prepare monthly technical report

· Responsible to prepare the Dock & Repair report

· Manage the repair & maintenance of vessels and barges in our fleet

· Manage the engine overhauls of the fleet

· Ensure spares are available and in stock for repairs and maintenance

One year contract renewed annually with salary of USD 5500/ months.
