Technical Warehouseman, starting date end of april, long period, 5 weeks on/off
Job Title : B-Deck Warehouseman
Appointed deputy in case of default or absence : to be decided by Chief Engineer.
Job Description :
Maintaining and updating of stock control, shipping and administering cargo.
Authority/Responsibilities :
Report to Warehouse Manager
Job Tasks :
Check incoming cargo against manifest and report any discrepancy
Issue stock items as directed by Warehouse Manager
Update stock database upon receipt or issue of stock
Prepare shipping manifests for back loaded cargo.
Check and maintain stock levels, in co-operation with heads of Technical departments, and maintain minimum and maximum stock. Prepare requisitions.
Update all stock transfers in Oracle PMS.
Act as per standing instructions.
Qualifications :
Command of English language both verbally and in writing.
Computer literate
Must have technical/mechanical knowledge with regards to offshore construction vessels and equipment
Minimum one year experience as Warehouseman
Must be physically able to perform the necessary lifting of stock
Completion of external safety/trade training as per Company’s training matrix.
Warehouse manager, starting beginning of april, 5 weeks on/off
Job Title : Warehouse Manager
Appointed deputy in case of default or absence : to be decided by Chief Engineer.
Job Objective(s) :
Co-ordination and administration of stock control cargo and related shipping activities
Authority/Responsibilities :
Effective requirements resulting from the Allseas' Corporate Quality Management System and Vessel Documentation System. Particularly Allseas' Ship Management and Operations Manual (Volume I, II and Volume III - section 3).
Job Tasks :
Maintain an updated log of the location/possession of non-consumable equipment (i.e. radios, tools, etc.).
Prepare shipping manifests for backload cargo and individual manifests/statements on waste/garbage.
Check incoming cargo against manifests and report discrepancy.
Perform stock checks as per Company procedures.
Issue stores as directed by the Superintendent and utilise the Company agreed procedures of MP 17.
Control project material as per agreed Company procedures of ‘Free Issue Material Control.
Ensure database is updated on a daily basis.
Issue work instructions to Warehouseman.
Qualifications :
Must speak English
Must be familiar with computerised warehouse administration
Minimum five years experience
Completion of external safety/trade training as per Company’s training matrix
3 x Warehouseman, starting in april and may.
